Our visually stunning MERIDA REACTO was already introduced at Eurobike as one of the highlights for this year’s season. Since then, it has even collected first excellent test results. But in the course of our Team Presentation in February 2011, this road machine also celebrates its premiere as official training device of our MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM pro riders: The slightly modified REACTO version now features a complete Sram drive-train as well as ultra-light PRC components.

The high-performer’s brilliant centrepiece is a semi-aero carbon frame with innovative carbon technology that pushes progressive design language directly into the highest spheres of performance. Together with the torsion-resistant BB section, the 1.5" X Taper head-tube provides precise handling and powerful propulsion – classic road racer data that the test experts of German bike journal “Tour” have already evaluated as “outstanding” (“Tour”-magazine 02/2011) in comparison to six other aero bikes.

But our professional MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM athletes do not only rely on the 2012 REACTO Team version’s amazing road-bike power: They also enjoy excellent riding comfort offered by the purposeful utilization of vibration-absorbing “Bio Flax” fibres in relevant sections of fork, seat post and seat stays! Not to mention, of course, the unique aero seat post: This special “S-Flex” post eliminates road unevenness actively and especially by filtering out annoying high-frequency vibrations – despite the fact that the seat post shape is optimally adapted to the REA CTO’s aero frame design.
