Multivan Merida Biking Team fährt T5 der neuesten Generation

Hannover, 20.02.2010 – Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge stellt dem Multivan Merida Biking Team insgesamt 16 Fahrzeuge aus der aktuellen Produktpalette zur Verfügung.

Die erfolgreiche Kooperation zwischen Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge und dem Mountainbike-Profis von Merida wird auch im Jahre 2010 fortgesetzt. Die acht Radfahrerinnen und Radfahrer vom Multivan Merida Biking Team sind auch künftig bei allen Rennen und PR-Terminen im In- und Ausland mit Fahrzeugen der Marke Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge unterwegs. Zur Verfügung stehen den Profis acht Multivan und zwei California Beach und zwei Transporter Kombi, der neusten T5-Generation.
Die mobile Werkstatt wurde in einen Volkswagen Crafter integriert. Zusätzlich verfügt das Team über ein Wohnmobil auf Crafter-Basis, sowie zwei Crafter Kastenwagen für den Transport der Fahrräder und des weiteren Equipments.

Die neuste T5- Generation ist seit vergangenem Jahr auf dem Markt. Mit modernsten Motoren sowie hochwertiger Ausstattung ist sie sparsamer, sauberer, sicherer und komfortabler als jemals zuvor und setzt damit neue automobile Maßstäbe.

Merida ist einer der weltweit größten Hersteller von Qualitätsfahrrädern und bekannt für die Entwicklung qualitativ hochwertiger und sehr leichter Aluminium- und Carbon -Rahmen. Das Multivan Merida Biking Team existiert seit 2004, davor war Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge bereits Co-Sponsor.
