Speculations are already in full flow amongst the people in the know if Gunn Rita Dahle will also change to the big wheels and bring the new ‘secret weapon’ the Big Nine to Yorkshire or if she will stick to the proven race companion the 0.Nine.

After last year’s trip to Plymouth where Gunn Rita Dahle joined the line-up of the British Series she will be returning this year to test her race fitness at the Dalby Forest round of the British Series (16/17th April 2011. Besides testing her early season fitness against the growing field of competitors Gunn Rita is also keen to test the World Cup course under race conditions before returning with the entire Multivan Merida Racing Team in May for the UK round of UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.

Our Merida UK racer Paul Hopkins has had a tough winter struggling with various illnesses but still managed to have a great start to the season. Paul managed to win the first three XC races he took part in - not a bad record and promising for the main part of the season. Paul will be attending the British Series and will be defending his title there as well.
