Each fully assembled bike leaving one of the three MERIDA plants in Asia is really unique: Because as soon as it is on the way to its new owner in one of 68 countries around the world, not only the German R&D department has breathed life into the bike. Instead, each and every staff member involved in the manufacturing process has guaranteed that a genuine MERIDA has been produced with highest possible care. In this regard, the Merida Industry Co., Ltd. does not only look back on a 40-year experience in utilizing classic raw materials such as aluminium alloys which require elaborate processing: To achieve highest possible general quality with respect to the creation of high-end carbon bikes, the company decided to cooperate solely with premium suppliers which are specialists for composite materials.

Only this way MERIDA is able to ensure that cutting-edge frame technologies (e. g. hydroformed aluminium tubes or carbon frames manufactured by “Double Chamber” technology) guarantee reliable and long-lasting bike fun – in each category and for every rider.
