Innovation is the motor of all technological progress – at MERIDA represented by the pro riders of the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM.

This procedure is nothing new for all those steering a car or motorcycle: All vehicle buyers benefit from innovative technologies which have first been tested and utilized in the racing circus already years ago, then have become exclusive parts of the respectively favoured brand’s luxury models. As soon as such features have proven their reliability in a successful way, also the more economical vehicle series successively benefit from them. This valuable experience plus can be transferred to the bike sector in the same way – given that the respective bike brand has a successful pro athlete team that is competent in terms of bike technology, tests new developments during tough races and is also qualified to give important feedback to the R&D experts.

At MERIDA, this highly valuable know-how has been represented by the successful squad of the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM since 2002. Our pro riders do not only enrich new and further developments with the comprehensive input they have gathered on the planet’s most challenging race courses: Their impressive successes also demonstrate that bikes with the MERIDA emblem range among the world’s best. Or are there any other explanations for our Olympic Gold and Silver medals, World, European and National Championship titles, countless World Cup wins and many triumphs at fiercely contested stage races…?
