During his so far most successful season, José Hermida became XC World Champion 2010 on the O.NINE. Despite the new developments NINETY-NINE and BIG.NINE, the speedy Spaniard is going to use his personal and still unaltered 26" racing hardtail favourite also for most competitions in the Olympic Year 2012 – what would be closer to an accolade than this choice of the former World Champion?

The “Structure Element” frame enables our O.NINE to offer its outstanding stiffness data exactly there where a world-class athlete feeds them into the system – due to an intelligent “Nano Matrix” carbon fibre mix which is also responsible for the unbelievable frame weight of just 940 g*.

Simultaneously, innovative frame technologies like the “Flex Stay” rear stay guarantee cutting-edge comfort on the same world-class level – actively supported by the surpassingly ultra-light 27.2 mm PRC seat post (EN-tested) with Selle Italia “Monolink” clamping. Also in the Olympic Season 2012, the O.NINE thus highlights that exceptional athletes like our MULTIVAN MERIDA pro riders know for sure: especially on tough XC courses, only a vibration-damping and comfortable hardtail saves enough reserves for powerful sprints.

The same applies to the BB30 crank version with torsion-resistant 4-arm spider – brilliantly adapted to the O.NINE’s mighty BB section.
