MTB Team RACERSThomas Litscher

Thomas Litscher’s second season in the colours of the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM had a promising beginning: At the second race of the Cyprus Sunshine Cup he made it to the podium in 3rd. The young Swiss continued with two 7th place-finishes at the crosscountry Worldcup races in South Africa and Australia, and he was even riding in the lead for a short while in Cairns. With a 10th place in Nove Mesto, he once more met his own expectations, and in July he won a Bronze medal in the eliminator sprint format at the Swiss national championships. On Mont Sainte-Anne’s demanding course, he scored another top10 result by finishing in 9th. At the end of the season the Swiss rider made a trip first to China and then to Taiwan to represent his bike sponsor MERIDA at a number of races.
Having signed a new two-year contract with the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM, Thomas Litscher wants to leave the health issues of the past couple of seasons behind and get back to the level he performed at in 2013. This means that the Swiss rider wants to finish within the top10 at international races and add some Worldcup podium finishes for good measure.
