MTB Team RACERSThomas Litscher

At the beginning of 2013 Thomas Litscher was in splendid form: Teaming up with Ondrej Cink, the young Swiss rider made it to the podium in third at the Andalucia Bike Race. At the Ötztal Bike Festival in Haiming he scored a second-place-finish against strong competitors, and he also got second at the first eliminator Worldcup race held in Albstadt. Litscher finished within the top10 at the first race of the crosscountry Worldcup too, finishing in ninth. But the true highlight was still to come a week later in the Czech Republic: After he had been disqualified from the eliminator race due to an alleged false start, Litscher answered in his very own way in Sunday’s crosscountry main event: After a brilliant race he finished in 4th in Nove Mesto, making it to the podium. When he was training at altitude during the mid-season break, he started to suffer from saddle soreness issues that were to ruin the second half of Litscher’s season. Meanwhile these issues have been addressed surgically, and Thomas Litscher has not been facing any problems during the winter trainings. That’s why he intends to get back to attack mode for 2014 and return to the top10 in Worldcup races.
