HOLLY HARRIS

Australian MTB'er Holly Harris first started Mountain Biking with her dad, for fun around home. Holly has come a long way since then as she has stood at the top of the podium winning numerous races and was nominated for Cyclist of the year in 2018. Holly now pretty much lives and breathes cycling.  Holly is part-owner of Bicycle Central on Marsh and when she is not there she is training, racing or assistant coach to Armidale’s Two Wheel Academy.

Holly Rides a MERIDA Ninety-Six Team bike:

"I love riding my Team Ninety Six, it feels smooth and comfortable yet snappy and fast at the same time. My confidence on the bike has improved massively since riding this rocket ship, in my opinion it is the ultimate XC weapon".

RIDER PROFILE

Name: Holly Harris

Age: 22

Height: 190cm

Home town: Armidale NSW

Years Riding: 7 years

Occupation: Co-owner of Bicycle Central on Marsh

Chainring size: 32

Bikes: MTB -  MERIDA team Ninety Six because who doesn't need a little extra suspension in their life ? I am also running a SRAM Eagle Drive train (which is heavenly), with a Quarq power metre.

ROADIE: MERIDA Scultura 9000

Discipline: Nil although I do dabble in XCO. Wish I could go enduro with my blessing of wild unicorns. Also I did an XCM race once, I am also very rarely spotted on my Merida Scultura 9000.

Favourite Race: Obviously the UNE 12hrs in the Piney ! Actually any  race in Armidale because the NEMTB crew is a bunch of legends and they can't put a foot wrong!

Favourite place to ride: Armidale Pine forest, mostly just because I don't get lost :)
