Thumbs up for the new LITHOS from the team at Bikeboard.at

The team at Austria’s biggest and most established cycling website took our new LITHOS 10K through its paces, creating an insightful, detailed review of our new Bosch-powered e-enduro in the process.

Judging the book by its cover, the team were instantly impressed by the cable routing, which could be run through the headset for a super-clean cockpit, or alternatively, through specific openings in the head tube, which would simplify service work on the upper headset cup. On top of that, the generous use of frame-protection material, increased bearing size and rear-axle-integrated tool further underline the LITHOS’s longevity and serviceability, both of which were high on the product development target list.

Out on the trail, and focusing on the uphill performance to start with, the LITHOS impressed with its strong climbing abilities, demonstrating an active yet very controlled rear end. In combination with the powerful Bosch drive unit and efficient pedalling position, this makes the LITHOS 10K feel as though it is “glued to the floor like a mosquito to flypaper…with the subtle difference that it can still move at breakneck speed”.

Once at the top, the team took a closer look at how our e-enduro would master the descents. Once again, the impressive performance of the rear end, the sorted geometry and the excellent suspension components allowed our LITHOS 10K to really shine…and as the testers say, “the faster you go, the more planted the LITHOS feels”.

Their conclusion:
“The Lithos 10k’s suspension is a force to be reckoned with on downhill runs: it’s smooth, responsive and sticks to the ground like a mosquito to flypaper – with the subtle difference that it can still move at breakneck speed. The bike generates speed at every turn thanks to its responsive yet by no means vague suspension behaviour. The balanced geometry works in its favour: the chainstays are long enough – at least on the ‘Mid’ size that we tested – to ensure good balance. The option to switch to a 29-inch rear wheel is a welcome feature. […] Thanks to the rear suspension’s immense versatility, its balanced kinematics in all situations and the sheer power of the Bosch Performance Line CX-R motor when needed, the Lithos is a reliable ride not just on the descents. Thanks to its steep seat angle, you can also comfortably pedal for hours on end and push the long-lasting battery to its limits.”
