Cycling Electric to put the eBIG.TOUR 675 EQ under the microscope

eBIG.TOUR 675 EQ

After testing our eSILEX+ 600 and giving it the thumbs up, the Cycling Electric team were keen to look at a more urban-focused bike that could still be taken off-road occasionally. The obvious choice was our eBIG.TOUR 675 EQ, which combines urban versatility with all-day comfort and off-road capability.

From the outset, the eBIG.TOUR 675 EQ impressed with its standout features, such as the comprehensive equipment kit including the MIK HD-compatible rear rack, powerful motor, and large-size battery. This led the team to summarise their initial impressions: "I just found this bike easy to live with and easy to ride. It sounds simple, but from turning the motor on to finishing your journey, this bike makes things feel easy, comfortable and enjoyable”.

The team also appreciated the bike's comfortable seating position and sure-footed handling, which really pays off when cruising around town as well as when going over bumpier terrain.

Finally, the removable battery, which allows charging off the bike, was also identified as a real advantage, particularly when the bike has to be stored outside without a nearby charging point.

Their final verdict:
“I love this style of bike; they're so lovely to ride and incredibly versatile. They're a bike for people who want to ride, with no other purpose than to ride a bike and ditch the car. They can handle anything you throw at them and will turn your commute into something of a breeze. Additionally, the Merida eBIG TOUR 675 EQ's ability to cope with almost anything you can throw at it makes the bike even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for a bike that will make the commute a breeze and help you ditch a car for short trips, then consider the Merida eBIG TOUR 675 EQ, as it's a solid option in the category of trekking e-bikes.”
