road.cc review the CROSSWAY L 300, giving it an excellent 8/10 score

Our low-step through trekking hybrid the CROSSWAY L 300 has had a very positive review from road.cc, with their tester saying that “it’s an easy, no-nonsense ride, with suspension and a gear range not found in its rivals”.

Designed to be a comfortable and versatile bike for weekend adventures as well as everyday use, the CROSSWAY range pairs our upright comfort geometry with a lightweight but durable aluminium frame available in both conventional and low step through frame designs, as tested here. 

This versatility appealed to the reviewer, saying that “The Merida Crossway 300L is a Jack-of-all-trades step-through hybrid, taking you from the weekly commute to weekends out in the countryside” and that “the frame itself is well-built and neatly finished”.

With a short-travel suspension fork and fast rolling but comfortable and grippy tyres, the CROSSWAY can handle light off-road riding, something also noted in the review: “If you are planning to add more trails and forests to your weekly rides, or if your local roads are pretty rough, then it’s a major bonus.”

Summing up, the tester said that “if you’re keen on the more off-road aspects of owning a hybrid, then the Crossway is for you… it’s well equipped, comfortable, versatile and comes in at a good price.”
