2013 - an exciting year ahead

2013 is going to be an exciting year for Merida with one of the strongest range to date and a UCI Pro Team on the horizon. The new range is now viewable online and available through out constantly growing dealer network.

From the beginning of 2013 there will be a new team on the UCI ProTour – Team Lampre-MERIDA (more details about the team here). Our Scultura SL will finally be put on the stage it deserves.

And talking about the Scultura SL – it recently landed a super impressive test in Germany’s RoadBIKE magazine (detail here).

Multivan Merida Biking Team

Since 2004, the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM has been scoring over 30 World Cup wins as well as Olympic gold and silver medals. Their impressive list of success also includes ten World and eleven European Championship titles (respectively), several 2nd ranks and bronze medals. But MERIDA’s professional riders do not only support our company’s reputation by stellar performance – at the same time, they fulfil another very important role as test pilots.

The Big Wheel Revolution

The big wheel revolution is here and here to saty. After adding 29er hardtails and also full suspension bikes to the range the latest addition and 'weapon of choice' for some of the riders of the Multivan Merida Biking Team in 2013 is the new full carbon Big Ninty-Nine Team Edition.

The bike was introduced and tested by the world's cycling press at the 2013 team launch in Majorca. Early indications and feedback have shown that this machine will have a great season ahead. Watch this space.
