The all-new ONE-FORTY 500 positively encourages you to do that thanks to an all-aluminium frame with our radical new trail geometry that's equally happy cleaning the toughest climbs as it is ripping down high-mountain trails. There's no point getting out there if you can't get back, which is why we've fitted high-value kit that delivers solid performance. Marzocchi and RockShox take care of the suspension, while a wide-range Shimano 11-speed drivetrain turns your effort into go and four-piston brakes turn the lightest touch into slow.

The new ONE-FORTY is the ultimate trail bike, made for the toughest trails in the world. It’s the pinnacle of modern trail riding, with a super-steep 80° seat angle, low front end and bottom bracket allow it to clear the most technical climbs, while longer reach figures across all sizes and a well-balanced 65° head angle mean it’s still more than capable of ripping any descent. With our new sizing system, riders can run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, with suspension that becomes more progressive as you size up to better cope with heavier/harder riders. We’ve focussed on weight reduction and rolling speed too, for improved efficiency. All bikes come with long travel dropper posts, WIRE PORT cable routing and a reliable threaded bottom bracket plus carbon frames have on-board tool storage and FidLock magnetic bottle cages.

HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM

Cevi se vstavijo v negativen kalup, vroča emulzija vode in olja pa se potisne pod izredno visokim tlakom, kar omogoča, da se cev oblikuje v zelo kompleksne oblike.

Ta vrsta konstrukcije vpetja zadnje nihajke omogoča "plavajoče" vpetje zadnjega blažilca. Zgornji nosilec se premika skupaj z sistemom vzmetnja in s tem omogoča zelo občuten odziv nihajke na podlago, hkrati ta sistem omogoča optimalno nastavitev razmerja blaženja.

WIRE PORT

MERIDA designed headsets that allow all control cables to enter the frame through the headset, creating a clean and uncluttered look, without making structural changes to the frame. Depending on the model, the cables are run completely internally (including bar and stem) or semi-integrated where the cables enter the frame underneath the stem.

FAST KINEMATIC

Flexstay rear suspension platform that has a specific suspension kinematic for each size, with longer reach models having increased progression to better suit harder and/or heavier riders. LONG FENDER

The ONE-FORTY and ONE-SIXTY can run a sleekly integrated and removable full length rear fender which provides the rider excellent protection from dirt and water spray from the rear wheel. That's in addition to the standard fit short fender, which helps to protect the main pivot and cables, extending their lifespan.
