CATEGORY HIGHLIGHTS

XC focused carbon frame (approx. 1.29 kg BIG.NINE - M). Aero profiled down tube, leaf spring profiled chain and seat stays for comfort. BB92 bottom bracket. Boost axle standard and tapered head tube deliver stiffness and steering precision. ‘Smart Entry’ cable routing prevents rattling. Includes integrated down tube and chainstay protectors for extra frame protection.

All models down to the BIG.NINE LITE frame level feature a 30.9 mm seatpost, the enhanced connection area increases the strength around the top tube/seat tube join and allows the option of fitting a dropper seat post. Models down to BIG.NINE LIMITED allow internal cable routing for the dropper post while the remaining models would require external routing.

Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails and roads get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

Our carbon (CF) and aluminium (LITE) models feature a long 422 mm reach, steep 73,5° seat angle, slack 70° head angle and an 80 mm stem (frame size M), affording the next generation XC geometry. Aggressive agility meets stable calmness; perfect for today’s demanding courses.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE

Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precise and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

NANO MATRIX CARBON

To protect the integrity of carbon frames, the fibres are bonded together with an epoxy resin with added nano particles, increasing impact resistance by up to 40%.

When creating the individual carbon elements, an inflatable bladder is used to ensure there are no wrinkles inside the tube as these can add weight and create weakness. This results in a lighter, stiffer and stronger frame.
