Three countries, one fun day - 2022 Tres Nacions sportive powered by MERIDA is a great success
You can't beat a country-hopping road trip, which is why the Tres Nacions (Three Nations) road sportive is rightly known as one of the best travelled as well as most beautiful road sportives to be had, taking in Andorra, Spain and France in a single day.
With 140 km of varied riding and 2,400 m of climbing in the stunning Pyrenean mountains, the event is a longstanding fixture in the road sportive calendar, having first started in 1979.
Now in its 42nd year, long-time MERIDA athlete José Hermida has been entrusted with running the event after taking over the reins from the local cycling club, but he always takes part without fail too, as it is based in his home town of Puigcerdà.
With a mix of stunning descents, amazing views and challenging climbs, the route helps to showcase the amazing riding in the region. The event video below shows you a little taste of the riding, scenery and camaraderie that is at the heart of this event and we hope you enjoy it. If you fancy taking part for the 43rd instalment, you can find more details HERE.
