4.5 out of 5 for the SCULTURA ENDURANCE 400 in Cycling Plus

In the recent issue (January 2024), the Cycling Plus test team checked out the details of our aluminium SCULTURA ENDURANCE 400 endurance road bike, gave it an impressive 4.5 out of 5 stars score and called it "One of the best value and best riding bikes under £2,000".

Following in the footsteps of the SCULTURA ENDURANCE RIVAL EDITION that was tested by the BikeRadar/Cycling Plus team earlier this year and given the "one of the very best endurance bikes of 2023" accolade, the test team was optimistic that the more affordable aluminium version would equally impress.

First up, the aluminium frame, with its "superb finish", its winter training readiness and "premium look", left a positive mark with the team, while the overall build for the money was one of the key aspects that impressed Cycling Plus.

Going onto the riding characteristics, the SCULTURA ENDURANCE 400 offers a "relaxed riding position" paired with responsive steering and eagerness on the climbs and the attacks, a package that worked well for the Cycling Plus team.

Their final verdict:
"Often bikes below £2,000 are overly compromised by budget components and excess weight, but not this one...it's one of the best sub-£2,000 bikes I've tested, and one of the best aluminium frames around too." 4.5 out of 5 stars.
