CATEGORY HIGHLIGHTS

The SPEEDER has become more sporty. By increasing the length of the top tube, we have achieved a slightly longer reach which offers the rider a more sportive riding position while still being on the comfortable side. Furthermore, this geometry change leads to a longer wheelbase, which has a positive effect on directional stability and in combination with the slightly slacker head tube angle, improves the riding stability at speed.

The new SPEEDER has the ability to take up to 37 mm wide tyres, increasing the ride comfort as well as the grip (and therefore safety). Wider tyres also offer improved puncture protection. Even with fenders being fitted, the SPEEDER can still take up to 32 mm wide tyres.

Lightweight 6066 triple butted and hydroformed aluminium frame with smooth welding and internal cable routing. Complete with mudguard and rack mounts.

We use 6066 series aluminium, the highest level generally used in bike production. Its metallic composition allows it to be extensively hydroformed (a process of forcing a hot emulsion of water and oil through tubes in a negative mould). This allows us to vary wall thicknesses and tune the frame to be both strong where it is needed and flexible where required.

Cables are routed through the frame to keep the look of the bike neat and uncluttered, whilst the cables are out of the airflow and protected from moisture and dirt.

All MISSION CX and CYCLO CROSS models are equipped with disc brakes, providing high-performance braking isolated from the weather and muddy conditions due to their location at the wheel's hub/centre. The new MISSION CX models now feature flat mount brake standard for a neat and flush positioning of the brake caliper.

All models are equipped with a full carbon tapered fork. Carbon has great vibration absorbing properties in addition to being lightweight, so ride quality is improved. The carbon tapered steerer provides great stiffness to the front end of the bike, delivering precise and confidence inspiring handling.

PROLITE 66 TRIPLE BUTTED ALUMINUM

Our proven high-end aluminium (6066) is extremely light and durable. Using triple butted wall thicknesses and hydroforming technology, we can tune the aluminium tubes to give the best possible stiffness to weight ratio.

IMAGE

HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM

Tubes are inserted into negative moulds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through at pressure, enabling them to be formed into complex shapes.

IMAGE

X-TAPER HEADTUBE

Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precise and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.

IMAGE

SMOOTH WELDING

Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.

IMAGE

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

IMAGE

DOWN TUBE EXIT

Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.

IMAGE

TFS - TECHNO FORMING SYSTEM

Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative moulds, at times combined with an internal metal core.

F-MOUNT

‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.

IMAGE

C-MOUNT

‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require model specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
