For most riders, looking after their bike and doing more comprehensive maintenance is not high on their agenda so the new Speeder is simple without sacrificing functionality. The majority of our models come with an easy-to-operate 1x single chainring setup. The large gear-range cassette offers the right gear for steeper inclines as well as fast-paced flat sections or descents. A rigid fork, further reduces the need for maintenance, it’s substantially lighter too.

Clearance has been increased to accommodate up to 50 mm wide tyres. Bikes are sold with fast-rolling 45 mm gravel tyres, providing extra grip on loose terrain such as canal paths and making city riding easy. The increased volume improves comfort and puncture resistance on rough surfaces.

To complement the increased tyre clearance and larger gravel tyres, adjustments have been made to the frame. A sloping top tube gives the new Speeder a modern look, exposing more seat post, and providing extra length to deflect on rough ground. This is paired with a thinner 27.2 mm seat post, further improving comfort off-road. The head angle has been slackened, resulting in greater stability and control on rougher terrain.

Multiple fixing points for fenders, racks and frame lock help turn the Speeder into the perfect all-year-round commuter or flat-bar bikepacking companion.

We’ve added a dropped toptube frame option to the range.

We also offer 2 frame levels:-

- The ALA-A option appears on the top of the range Speeder 500; welds on the aluminium frame are smoothed for a more seamless, carbon fibre look,
complemented by a carbon fork.  

- The ALA-C frame with a lightweight aluminium fork keeps the rest of the range a little more affordable.

The Speeder is more than just a flat-bar bike for riding through the city. We test our frames and components beyond industry standards; the Speeder undergoes the same testing regime as our gravel and gravel race bikes, making it ready for anything a busy commute or bike packing adventure can throw at it.

The new Speeder‘s modern frame shape, sloping top tube, short headtube, and smooth lines, combined with the clean look of the rigid fork, created a minimalist look. The comfortable ride, wide range of use, functional drivetrain, and powerful brakes deliver in any riding situation.
