SAME SPIRIT, RIDER FOCUSED
The eOne-Sixty CF is our race-ready, performance focused eMTB, built around a full-carbon frame with a fixed 600 Wh internal battery. Removing the battery cut-out and using advanced carbon lay-ups makes the frame significantly lighter and stiffer, while the low, central battery position delivers sharp, agile handling.
The eOne-Sixty CF comes with beefed-up suspension, 170 mm at the front and 174 mm at the rear, and features mullet wheels across all sizes, providing extra agility and control on extreme terrain. It can also be converted to a full 29er setup, which reduces rear travel to 160 mm. The internal, non-removable battery has a 600 Wh capacity, which can be increased with an optional 360 Wh range extender, offering more than 50 % additional range compared to the previous generation.
NEW GEOMETRY
IMPROVED HANDLING
Our new geometry builds on the success of the original eOne-Sixty and the award-winning One-Sixty, combining strong climbing power with excellent trail performance. Designed specifically for eBikes, it features a shorter reach and a higher front end for improved agility on the trail.
Compared to the previous eOne-Sixty, the stack has been reduced, creating a more aggressive riding position with a lower front end. As with the regular One-Sixty, we believe it’s better to have the option to raise the stack with spacers or a higher rise bar than to be stuck with a high head tube and a bar you can’t lower. The geometry of the new carbon eOne-Sixty CF and the aluminium Lite is identical; it’s been modernised but retains the highly acclaimed handling characteristics of the previous eOne-Sixty.
FEATURES & INNOVATIONS
SMART FEATURES & UPGRADES
Merida Team TR II Dropper Post
Travel is adjustable from 30-230 mm via a simple-to-use seat post collar tightening mechanism, integral to the flexibility of the Agilometer sizing and comfort concept. The 34.9 mm size reduces stresses on the dropper post internals and the frame, further improving durability.
Wire Port
Gear, brake and dropper post cables, enter the frame through a headset cover, creating a clutter-free cockpit and reducing cable rattle. ACROS Block Lock headsets help prevent bars rotating and damaging the frame in a crash.
Trail Mount
The trail mount enables you to store tools and spares neatly under the top tube and gives you room for a few essentials in case you get caught out on the trail.
Flip Chip
A Flip Chip is built into the rocker, letting you switch rear wheel sizes without changing the bike’s geometry.
Using a 27.5" rear wheel gives the bike more lively handling and adds 14 mm of extra travel, while a 29" wheel offers a more stable ride.
SRAM UDH
The SRAM UDH hanger is easy to source, boosts shifting performance, and is fully compatible with the latest SRAM drivetrains.
P-Flex
The eOne-Sixty CF and LITE models use our P-Flex flexstay technology, reducing both maintenance and weight. As proven on the regular One-Sixty, One-Forty and One-Twenty, removing the rear pivot doesn’t compromise frame strength or long-term durability.
POWERED BY SHIMANO STEPS
CLASS-LEADING PERFORMANCE
Shimano STePS is a leading e-bike power system, delivering smooth, reliable pedal-assist with the flexibility to pair different batteries and controls for the ultimate drivetrain setup.
At the top of the range, the lightweight EP801 motor is built for performance-oriented mountain biking. With 85 Nm of torque, 600 W of peak power, and a finely tuned setup, it perfectly complements the eOne-Sixty frame, giving you confidence when the terrain gets tough.
A 360 Wh range extender is available separately, extending your ride when you need it most.
360 Wh
RANGE EXTENDER
Enhance your ride with the optional 360 Wh range extender, which increases total battery capacity to 960 Wh on the eOne-Sixty CF
or an impressive 1,110 Wh on the eOne-Sixty Lite.
All batteries, including the range extender, are supplied by Trendpower. Shimano provides full warranty support for the batteries, giving you added confidence and convenience if anything should go wrong.
The 360 Wh range extender weighs just 2.9 kg and attaches securely to the two dedicated mounting adaptors on the downtube. Standard water bottle mounts are also a feature, although only one accessory can be fitted at a time. You can choose either the range extender or a water bottle.
AGILOMETER SIZING
CHOOSE SIZE BASED ON RIDING STYLE
A 30-230 mm travel adjustable dropper post (excluding the eOne-Sixty 675), combined with a low stand-over height allows riders to select a bike size based on their preferences rather than their height.
Short, Mid and Long sizing reflects the proven Agilometer sizing system, accommodating all needs from long-reach stability to shorter-reach
manoeuvrability or more upright riding comfort.
FRAME PROTECTION & MUDGUARDS
BUILT FOR THE TRAIL
All models are equipped with mounting points for a long rear mudguard, and each bike is supplied with a compact mudguard that protects the main pivot area.
The frame features extensive protection to help keep your bike looking its best. This includes protective foil, a rubber chainstay guard and a dedicated downtube shield, all positioned to minimise noise and reduce the impact of trail debris.
FAQ
Light support bikes do allow a low overall weight, but this comes at the expense of outright support and battery capacity. By pairing the full power EP801 drive unit with a 600 Wh battery, we get great support and good range. By making the battery integrated into the frame, we can still get the weight impressively low - even when using enduro-ready equipment rather than speccing to reduce the weight at the expense of performance. The 360 Wh range extender can then be used to turn this from a lightweight full-support bike into a full-support bike with an impressively high 960 Wh capacity with only an 2.9 kg penalty.
A removable battery is great for convenience, but placing a large hole in the downtube from which you can remove the battery means that a lot of extra frame material is needed to reinforce it. By having a non-user removable battery, we can design a much lighter frame - the new CF frame is 800g lighter than the previous one. Because less reinforcement is needed, the downtube can also be slimmer, giving a more pleasing look.
No, the bikes do not come with the range extender, but it will be available separately through your local Merida dealer. This helps us keep the overall price of the bikes down, but gives an option for those that need more than the standard battery capacity.
Yes, Shimano will process any warranty issues with the Trendpower battery and Shimano components as one, rather than the customer having to deal with multiple brands.
The bikes come as standard with a tapered 1.125-1.5" steerer forks, but it is possible to use forks with the new 1.8" taper standard by changing the lower frame cup and crown race. This part and all others are from ACROS, giving broad interchangeability of components and easy availability of spare parts.
The 1.8" lower cup can be found with ACROS part number: 51.02.620S-120
The 1.8" crown race can be found with ACROS part number: 51.02.029-120-AM
