Vår beprövade aluminiumkvalitet 6066 är extremt lätt och tålig. Med trippelreducerad väggtjocklek och hydroformteknik kan vi ge aluminiumrören maximalt styvhet i förhållande till vikt.

Rören placeras i matriser. Därefter sprutas en het vatten-olje-blandning genom rören med högt tryck för att forma dem till komplexa former.

Koniskt styrrör med 1 1/8-tums lager längst upp och 1 1/4-tums eller 1 1/2-tums längst ned ger fantastisk styvhet samt precis och tillförlitlig styrning.

Dubbla svetssträngar ger snyggare ram. Du kan inte se att ramen är svetsad på avstånd – den ser ut som en kolfiberram.

Kablar/vajrar är dragna genom ramen med in- och utgångar försedda med mjuka muffar. Det ger cykeln snyggare utseende samtidigt som kablar/vajrar skyddas mot fukt och smuts.

Dra åt skruvarna (använd TORX 30-nyckel) utan att behöva hålla emot från andra sidan – snabbare och enklare åtdragning av viktiga komponenter.

A suspension design where the traditional pivot point on the seat stay is eliminated in favour of a flexstay design. This uses the compliance of the material and specific shaping of the tubes to allow for the seat and chain stays to move apart as the suspension moves through the travel. By removing this pivot point at the seat and chain stay junction, we save weight, reduce maintenance needs and add stiffness to the frame structure.

MERIDA designed headsets that enable all control cables from the handlebar to enter the frame through the headset cover, creating a clean and uncluttered look, allowing for a lighter, stronger and more aerodynamic frame structure than with conventional cable ports. Depending on the model, the cables are run completely internally (including the bar and stem) or semi-integrated, where the cables enter the frame underneath the stem.

Suspension system that uses a Flexstay design to reduce weight and maintenance, is Adjustable to run 29” or 27.5” wheels without altering the geometry and has Size Tuned shock progression that increases with frame size, so lighter and smaller riders can access all of the travel and heavier riders get the support they need on big hits.

An optional extra coverage mudguard that bolts rigidly to the back end of our bikes, protecting the rider from dirt and water spray while reducing noise, movement and prevent damage to the paintwork.
