ONE-SIXTY 10K gets excellent result in Enduro Mountainbike Magazine grouptest

Enduro Mountainbike Magazine has put the latest ONE-SIXTY 10K up against the world best enduro bikes and our long-travel machine has come out superbly well, with the review stating that "the ONE-SIXTY strikes a nice balance between agility and composure... it proves to be a strong all-rounder".

Despite going up against bikes released much later, the ONE-SIXTY held its won thanks to a top-level specification plus geometry and performance that still delivers on the trail, as noted in the review: "MERIDA have often been ahead of their time, setting trends with technical innovations like their sizing concept and flexstay rear end".

The ONE-SIXTY pioneered our AGILOMETER sizing concept and it's still as relevant now as when it was released, with the tester saying that: "the steep seat angle creates a compact position with plenty of pressure on the hands – ideal for steep, technical climbs" and that "on the descents, the low front end encourages you to push actively – and those who do are rewarded with serious drive".

With 170 mm of front fork travel paired to a rear end with 160mm of travel or 170mm of rear wheel travel depending on whether a 29" or 27.5" rear wheel is used, the FAST kinematic suspension delivers assured performance, with the test stating that "it generates outstanding traction."

This top-spec 10K model comes with the latest Live Valve technology from Fox for an efficient yet plush ride, something noted by the reviewer: "at the rear, the electronically controlled FOX DHX Coil NEO shock offers real advantages... [the] suspension shines on the climbs".

In summary, they said that "the MERIDA is for riders seeking a well-rounded, high-tech package – ambitious racers, frequent riders, or those wanting a smart, ready-to-go build. It rides playfully, pushes well, and reaches serious speeds".
