MERIDA provides two runners-up in Wideopen's bike of the year list

With 2024 now behind us, there is a plethora of 'Best Bike of 2024' to choose from, and we have managed to get not one but two bikes near the top of Wideopen’s 2024 listing.

In the mountain bike category, it was the sheer speed and sure-footedness of the ONE-FORTY 6000 that Pete experienced when he first rode the bike at last year's THE EX enduro race, and that has continued throughout the season. Read the full story here.

In the e-bike category it was the new eONE-SIXTY SL that took second place. Here, the instant sensation of just ‘feeling right’ coupled with the ability to handle anything you can throw at it made the eONE-SIXTY SL 8000 really stand out in 2025. Check out the complete review here.
