Impressive 1.7 test score for the eFLOAT CC in the latest ElektroRad test

In the latest trekking bike test of the German magazine ElektroRad (01/2025), our new Bosch-powered eFLOAT CC 500 EQ was put through its paces for the first time. The new addition to the MERIDA portfolio is a "multifunctional e-bike with a well-thought-out concept and a powerful Bosch CX drive that offers a wide range of uses". The magazine points out that the eFLOAT CC's "smart features" allow it to perform to its full potential and that the integrated dropper seatpost is useful both on the trail and at traffic lights. Our eFLOAT CC also boasts a multifunctional rear carrier, which can be complemented by an optional front carrier.

The editors described the riding position of the eFLOAT CC as" perfect for touring and comfortable". As well as cycle paths and tarmac roads, the e-bike's natural habitat is "field, forest and meadow paths". Thanks to the integrated suspension fork and grippy tyres, it offers first-class safety and control. It climbs "confidently" with the powerful support of the Bosch CX unit, and thanks to the reliable brakes, it "doesn't wobble" even when going downhill or fully laden.
