MBR gives the eONE-SIXTY SL 6000 an excellent 9/10 score

After spending some time on the new eONE-SIXTY SL 6000, Mountain Bike Rider has declared that it "looks great, rides even better" and given it a superb 9/10 score.
The eONE-SIXTY SL is the entry to our lightweight e-MTB range, with a full carbon frame and high-value components, along with Bosch drive unit. With a 400 Wh battery built into the frame, this system was singled out for praise, with the tester saying "Bosch’s SX system is probably the best lightweight motor out there".
However, it was the handling that was the high point for the reviewer, with both the AGILOMETER sizing and geometry plus our suspension platform being a big hit.
The tester said that: "a combination of good sizing, a long back end and low bottom bracket made me feel confident in the bike, sure footed on the ugliest of tracks, and (almost) always in control" and added that if you "press it into the ground and you’re rewarded with instant acceleration and pump to eek speed out of flatter trails".
Of course, a lightweight ebike needs to climbs as well as it descends, but they were more than happy with the eONE-SIXTY SL's performance here, saying it is: "a good climber – the long chainstays and relatively low front end kept my front wheel from lifting on steep climbs. And the suspension is supple and slips into its travel nicely – combined with grippy tyres it’s good on techie climbs"
In summary, they finished by saying that the bike is "a nimble, playful ride, with good suspension and decent components" and that it "is an accomplished climber and a fun bike for the descents."
