MERIDA rider Natasha Bradley gets wildcard entry to Darkfest freeride event
MERIDA supported rider Natasha Bradley was been invited to ride at the legendary Darkfest freeride event, getting a last minute wildcard entry to the world-famous South African competition.
With some of the biggest mountain bike jumps in the world, Darkfest is a byword for big air mountain bike riding and a truly world-class freeride event, attracting top-level riders from all ove the globe.
Set in a mind-blowing location in the Vuurberg mountains near Stellenbosch, the course includes the world-famous step up, where riders hit speeds of up to 80 kph and some of the doubles have gaps of 110 feet (over 33 metres).
Rubbing shoulders with some of the world's best freeride talent, Natasha ticked off some seriously big hits on her ONE-SIXTY over the six days of riding, holding her own and marking herself as one to watch for the future.
"I was so stoked to be invited, it's such a cool event in an epic location!"
With an invite to Redbull Rampage targeted as her goal for 2025 as well as having entry confirmed to some other big freeride events already lined up, we're looking forward to Natasha establishing herself amongst mountain biking's big air and freeride elite.
