IT IS GOING DOWNHILL WITH MERIDA – AND YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Originally introduced in 2017 - our test winning full suspension ONE-SIXTY is the best enduro bike we have ever made. Now it is available in two different frame versions: a carbon front triangle paired with an aluminium rear end or a more budget friendly all aluminium version. Our engineers had a clear goal: to create the perfect enduro machine for today’s toughest tracks. It is a bike that inspires confidence and delivers unparalleled stability at speed while maintaining a playful character and all that in a sexy package, utilising the latest materials and suspension components. The end result: our test winning and EWS proven ONE-SIXTY enduro weapon.
The top version is based on a weight optimised carbon fibre front triangle, combined with a super lightweight 6013 aluminium back end (complete frame comes in at just over 2,500 g!), delivering 170 mm front and 160 mm ‘Float Link’ super controlled rear wheel travel. The super short 430 mm chain stays, long reach (445 mm in size M) and slack head angle of 65.3° make it an uncompromising ‘full gas’ enduro machine. Our ONE-SIXTY is not just a demon when you point it down the track but shows uphill pedal efficiency you would not expect from a bike with this amount of travel. The latest RockShox ‘Metric Shock’ technology delivers unprecedented performance and longevity.
Luckily our more budget friendly all aluminium version brings the same features, technologies and most importantly outstanding geometry and handling to the table, but at a more affordable price point.
Our ONE-SIXTY is one of the biggest show stoppers in our full suspension range. Fully at home on the demanding tracks of the Enduro World Series, ridden by Toni Ferreiro, our ONE-SIXTY has also gained outstanding press accolades. MBR labelled it one of the ‘sweetest-riding, most capable enduro bikes we’ve tested… and comes highly recommended.’
Race proven and loved by the international cycling press, our ONE-SIXTY combines super short 430 mm chainstays for increased agility and playfulness, with a long reach, slack head angles and a low centre of gravity, delivering an aggressive enduro geometry.
carbon or aluminium
The ONE-SIXTY is available with a carbon front end and 6016 aluminium rear or as a new all aluminium version. Carrying only a small amount of extra weight over the carbon/aluminium version, the all aluminium frame is a great alternative for riders preferring an all-metal setup and those on a tight budget.
Float link suspension
The lower shock mount moves with the system to deliver sensitive response characteristics. Our engineers can precisely influence the transmission ratio and progression which means a ‘Float Link’ system appears to offer more travel than the ONE-SIXTY name suggests. The rear end of the ONE-SIXTY creates the feeling of almost bottomless travel while remaining perfectly controlled when climbing.
SUPERLITE 16 REAR TRIANGLE*
Due to our new ‘Superlite 16 Alloy’ aluminium grade, the super strong rear triangle of our carbon ONE-SIXTY comes in at a mere 1300 g – with all the advantages aluminium brings to the table when used at the constantly bombarded rear end of our enduro bike.
Latest SHOCK UNIT GENERATION
Thanks to the ‘Trunnion Mount’, our designers simply have more freedom when designing the top tube. Its shorter eye-to-eye measurement while maintaining the shock travel opens the door for the full suspension bikes of the future.
BOOST 148 REAR HUB
No doubt: Our ONE-SIXTY, which feels right at home on the proper rough stuff, comes equipped with Boost wheels. Improved stiffness and shorter chain stays for improved agility underline the playful side of our new enduro bike.
PURE ENDURO GEOMETRY
With a 74,5° steep seat angle in size M our new ONE-SIXTY is a real demon when it comes to climbing and acceleration. And once at speed, the 65,3° slack head angle keeps things calm and controlled.
CARBON FIBRE MAIN FRAME*
Our carbon enduro bike impresses with a front triangle weight of around 1000g (size M, without shock) – a top weight for maximum enduro fun and not just on the downs.
With either 11 or 12 gears in the rear, ‘1x only’ drivetrains offer a broad range on this light enduro bike. And you can leave your front derailleur worries at home.
