Where the SILEX's race ambitions might be a bit pushed, the SILEX RS picks up the baton and runs with it. It combines the test and award-winning principles of the SILEX, its geometry concept, sporty yet comfortable riding position and large tyre clearance with what's needed when the clock is ticking. The aero cockpit from Vision combined with the aero chainring of the specific Rotor crankset help to keep wind resistance low, while the aero-optimised Soniq gravel wheelset from Fulcrum with a 30 mm internal width reduces wind turbulence to a minimum and helps to get the most out of the 45 mm gravel tyres.
Adventure and racing - all combined in one proven package. To give riders the option to rely on the proven SILEX concept when the racing urge kicks in, we have created the new SILEX RS. Adopting the key principles of the SILEX, of a sporty yet comfortable geometry that keeps the bike stable even after multiple hours in the saddle, ample tyre clearance to deal with the most demanding of courses and multiple fixing points to securely attach equipment and nutrition storage compartments, the RS range goes one step further to get the SILEX race-ready. A proven one-piece aero cockpit and specific aero chainring give it the aero touch, while the aero-optimised gravel-specific wheelset with an extra-wide rim bed helps get the maximum out of the tyres in terms of grip and comfort, while also contributing to the aero credentials of the SILEX RS. If our MISSION is too aggressive and our standard SILEX too adventure-focused, then the SILEX RS delivers the perfect combination of aerodynamic, tyre clearance and long-distance geometry.
