To ensure your new bike arrives in perfect condition, high-performance protective packaging is essential. Transporting a bicycle safely places unique demands on packaging design. At MERIDA, we continuously work to make our packaging as sustainable and resource-efficient as possible.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR), which introduces new EU-wide packaging requirements for products placed on the market as of August 12, 2026, we provide full transparency on all packaging materials used for our bikes and guide you on how to properly separate and recycle them.

Our guiding principle: As much paper and cardboard as possible, as little plastic as necessary—and 100% recyclability.

To keep these materials in the recycling loop, we need your help! Please separate the individual packaging components after unpacking your bike and dispose of them according to the guidelines below.
