If you are just starting out on your carbon mountain bike journey or you have been bitten by the XC or marathon racing bug, the BIG.NINE 3000 brings loads of strong arguments to the table. A lightweight carbon fibre frame with a modern hardtail geometry, proven components featuring ample stopping power and a wide gear range and 100 mm of butter smooth travel to iron out the trails. And if you outgrow your components, the BIG.NINE 3000 is the perfect canvas for upgrading over time.

When it comes to the demanding world of cross-country mountain biking, the classic hardtail remains one of the purest tools for the job. Our 29er wheel equipped BIG.NINE range comes with the choice of carbon or two different aluminium frames to deliver a ride for all budgets. The latest CF carbon and LITE aluminium framed BIG.NINE offer truly modern geometry with increased standover clearance and handling stability to better deal with the tough race tracks of today. They also have downcountry ready TR options that boost fork travel and add in aggressive tyres and dropper posts. For riders starting out, the updated BIG.NINE TFS offers more relaxed geometry and builds that deliver great value and versatility on or off the trail, with BIG.SEVEN TFS models using 27.5" wheels to deliver size for shorter riders. Our classic XC hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we have gained in over half a century of bike production and manufacturing. The BIG.NINE range represents the symbiosis between modern frame technology, attention to detail and craftsmanship that 'Made in Taiwan' stands for.

NANO MATRIX CARBON

AWS

Når vi lager de enkelte karbonelementene, benytter vi en oppblåsbar blære for å sørge for at det ikke dannes skrukker på innsiden av røret, fordi disse legger til vekt og utgjør svake punkter. Resultatet er en lettere, stivere og sterkere ramme.

WIRE PORT

MERIDA designed headsets that enable all control cables from the handlebar to enter the frame through the headset cover, creating a clean and uncluttered look, allowing for a lighter, stronger and more aerodynamic frame structure than with conventional cable ports. Depending on the model, the cables are run completely internally (including the bar and stem) or semi-integrated, where the cables enter the frame underneath the stem.
