The eSPRESSO 100 EQ have the sleek appearance of a conventional bike, but a hub motor and integrated 250 Wh battery are always on hand to support your journey when you need them to, all wrapped up in a lightweight, low step-through frame. It's fully equipped with lights, a kickstand, lock and rack, so you can get across town carrying what you need, in comfort and without worrying about safety. Shimano's smooth and reliable drivetrain is paired with powerful hydraulic disc brakes that give predictable stopping power, no matter what the weather, while standard-fit mudguards will help keep you dry when the road isn't.

New for 2022 is the eSPRESSO URBAN, which offers an even lighter weight package than the rest of the eSPRESSO range thanks to the use of a highly efficient, low-drag MAHLE ebikemotion X35+ hub mounted motor system and 250 Wh integrated battery. It delivers natural feeling support and is easy to pedal above the assistance limit, making it perfect for sporty riders after a sleek and slimline alternative. Thanks to the slimmed down tubing that houses the internal 250 Wh battery, the low step-through frame design gives even more clearance when mounting or dismounting. You can even use an externally mounted 208 Wh MAHLE Range Extender to boost range. Add in the fact it comes fully equipped with mudguards, rack, lock, lights and a kickstand and it’s your ideal city companion.

HFS - HYDRO FORMING SYSTEM

Tubes are inserted into negative moulds and a hot emulsion of water and oil is forced through at pressure, enabling them to be formed into complex shapes.

SMOOTH WELDING

Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

DI2 READY

Bikes/frames with the symbol ‘Di2 Ready’ are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology with battery mounting in the seat post or within the fork steerer.

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM

We use a minimum of 6061 aluminium. The pay back is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use an additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.

WIRE PORT

MERIDA designed headsets that allow all control cables to enter the frame through the headset, creating a clean and uncluttered look, without making structural changes to the frame. Depending on the model, the cables are run completely internally (including bar and stem) or semi-integrated where the cables enter the frame underneath the stem.
