BIG.TRAIL 500 in latest CyclingUK test

BIG.TRAIL 500

As one of the biggest cycling publications in the UK, CyclingUk looks at all elements of the sport, including trail hardtails, in their latest August/September 2025 issue.

Known for its trail capabilities as well as day-to-day versatility, the team was keen to look at our BIG.TRAIL 500 in their 'below £1,500' test.

Firstly, the testers noted the bike's progressive geometry, which features a slack head angle, a steep seat angle, and a long reach. This gives the bike stability on rough terrain and technical descents, as well as an effective climbing position and tons of grip. They also noted the multiple fixing positions, full-length dropper post and well-chosen specifications. The result is a “very capable and enjoyable trail bike”, with “thought out details” that further impresses through being “well designed, well specified and contemporary”.

You can find the full review in the August/September 2025 issue of CyclingUK.
