Cyclingweekly to test the REACTO 9000

REACTO 9000

Following their initial launch review, where they stated that “…as far as aero road bikes go, the Reacto feels like it could have one of the best ride qualities in the category” see details here, it was now time for the team to look beyond the REACTO 10K they rode at the launch and see if the REACTO 9000 can perform at a similar level.

Out of the box, the REACTO 9000 impressed with its striking appearance, with the tester commenting that it “looks the business” and that they “love” the colourway. Further looking at the performance of the bike, they stated that the REACTO “is undoubtedly an impressive bike to ride no matter the parcours. The lateral stiffness and competitive weight (7.53kg on my scales) meant that it was easy to forget that this is a fully fledged aero bike when climbing out of the saddle, and the changes at the rear end have certainly helped boost comfort” and that “the performance of the Reacto is every bit as good as it claims to be”.

Their final verdict:
“The Reacto is as fast as it looks, and the paint job is a particular highlight. It can still mix it with the best out on the road and is competitively light and impressively comfortable. It's a great bike…” 82% score / 4 out of 5 stars
+ Excellent Finish
+ Fast, but not at the expense of comfort
+ Stable, confident handling
+ Great balance of weight, aero, and compliance
