The "all-conquering" ETMO 500 EQ was awarded a "Very Good" rating in the ElektroRad test

In the latest issue (02/2026) of Germany’s ElektroRad magazine, our new, budget-friendly E-MTB, the ETMO, was put through its paces and immediately impressed the judges, securing an overall rating of ‘Very Good’ (1.5).

The “elegantly crafted aluminium frame” was described as appearing “as if cast from a single mould”, underlining its premium credentials. A Bosch PX drive delivers “a massive 90 Nm of torque” and was described as a “harmonious powerhouse”, which impresses with its strong acceleration and remarkably quiet “operating noise”.

The editorial team also praised the high-quality Suntour suspension components. This makes the ETMO a “master of all terrains” and means it is also “equipped for technically demanding trails”. The aluminium mudguards, the bright Lezyne front light and “a 20-kg luggage rack including a spring-loaded flap” in the EQ version further impressed the editorial team.

Off-road, the testers were very impressed by its “balanced combination of stability and playful agility,” as well as its confident, secure handling. The ETMO stands for “a precise handling, whilst the highly controllable brakes ensure safety at all times”. The Shimano gears also “shift quickly and reliably” and offer “the right gear ratio even for steep sections”. Downhill, “the agile riding dynamics thanks to the bike’s low centre of gravity” were a highlight.
