REACTO 10K given the ‘best all-rounder’ award by RennRad magazine

REACTO 10K

In the latest issue of Germany’s RennRad magazine (06/2026), the editorial team took a closer look at the REACTO 10K, one of our three top models. The 10K impressed across the board with its completely new and aerodynamically optimised carbon frame, as well as its outstanding spec.

The editorial team particularly praised both the frame’s high torsional stiffness, as well as the bike’s responsiveness and agility. Despite its sporty, stretched-out riding position, the REACTO also ensures that the rider is “not too high [above the front end]”. The newly released aero bike offers “plenty of riding enjoyment on twisty and technically demanding descents […] without ever feeling twitchy”.

The REACTO also impressed with its very low weight. This is thanks not only to the lightweight, optimised carbon frame, but also to the outstanding components, such as the top-of-the-range Red AXS groupset. The new S-FLEX carbon seatpost has become “significantly slimmer” and, with its recess, offers “comparatively high damping comfort at the rear”. The Red brakes also performed “strongly in all conditions” during the test. The Reynolds BL 60 Pro wheels were also praised for their lateral stiffness and their behaviour in crosswinds. The fitted Continental GP5000S TR tyres were highlighted as offering a “top compromise between low rolling resistance, plenty of grip and puncture protection”.

The REACTO 10K ultimately earned an ‘All-Round Top Pick’ from the RennRad editorial team thanks to its first-class handling, outstanding spec and balanced gear ratios, as well as achieving full marks in the ‘Frame’, ‘Spec’ and ‘Downhill Handling’ categories.

The editorial team concluded:
“The new MERIDA REACTO is a clear upgrade on its predecessor. It is a superbly balanced aero model with no obvious weaknesses: it is fast, agile and offers comparatively good shock absorption. The components have been chosen very thoughtfully.”
