Stunning review of the LITHOS 10K on EMTB-News

Europe’s largest E-MTB website, EMTB-News, had a close look at our new Bosch-powered e-enduro, specifically the 10K, top of the range variant and called it “Awesome”.

Out of the box, our new e-enduro impressed the test team with its “sleek lines”, attention to detail (i.e. cable routing options), sorted geometry, “sensational” suspension and well-thought-through spec choice. But where it really shone was when the team took it out on the trails.

The updated geometry offers a more upright riding position, which particularly “in the steeps descends keeps things calm and controlled”, while the steep seat angle puts the rider “centrally on the bike to improve rear wheel traction”. Alongside the geometry and sorted suspension, it was also the latest Fox suspension elements, namely the Fox Podium fork and DHX rear shock, that worked perfectly with the bike, making the “front feel stable and planted” as well as “delivering impressive traction”.    

Their ‘two’ final verdicts:
“Awesome! Rarely have I felt so at home on a bike straight away as I did on the Merida Lithos. This bike is brutally fast, incredibly powerful and just a right lot of fun. I was absolutely blown away by the Fox suspension with the Podium fork, steel-spring shock and Live Valve Neo. Guys, honestly, you can’t really get any better than this in the enduro segment at the moment.”

“With the Lithos 10k, Merida has created an impressive super-enduro bike with a potent suspension setup. Fast, powerful and precise, it excels on the downhill, whilst offering plenty of traction and excellent climbing performance on the uphill.
