Find Dealer

To build our most successful trail hardtail ever, we combined a beautifully built aluminium with long travel fork, capable 29er wheels and a long travel dropper post. The long reach and slack head angle make the BIG.TRAIL 600 a solid descender even when the trail is littered with roots and rocks, and the steep seat angle and central seating position give it its impressive climbing abilities. The BIG.TRAIL has the ups and the downs covered.

We often associate 'trail fun' and 'trail capability' with more and more full suspension travel because long-travel bikes are getting more capable on the way down and on the way back up again. At the same time, the trail hardtail has developed quietly in its shadow. After being absent from this segment, we returned to the trails with a bang onboard our BIG.TRAIL. Our trail hardtails took the bike press and trail riders by storm and have managed to perfectly combine a modern trail bike geometry with long-travel forks and chunky 29er wheels for amazing corner grip and comfort. Bikeboard.cc confirmed that we 'nailed it', while MBR, IMB and many more confirmed that the BIG.TRAIL is firmly at the top of the trail hardtail game. If you haven't heard or you're not yet a proud owner of it, then welcome to our BIG.TRAIL which offers simplified and hassle-free trail fun in spades. Available from S to XXL giving our BIG.TRAIL ample size and reach options.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE

Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precise and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.

SMOOTH WELDING

Sometimes called ‘double pass welding’, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

DOWN TUBE EXIT

Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM

We use a minimum of 6061 aluminium. The pay back is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use an additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.

TFS - TECHNO FORMING SYSTEM

Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative moulds, at times combined with an internal metal core.

F-MOUNT

‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.

K-MOUNT

Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).

C-MOUNT

‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require model specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
